UNFI is seeking motivated individuals to fill our Driver careers based out of our Montgomery, NY distribution Center. CDL- Class A Truck Drivers are needed in our growing company!

Job Responsibilities

• Perform pre and post trip inspection of their vehicle utilizing knowledge of safe and effective loading and handling procedures.
• Deliver and unload products, reviewing paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
• Check orders for correct number of boxes, correct addresses and support documentation.
• Complete timecards, enter trip data into on-board computer, and complete paper logs if necessary.
• Comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Deliver and unload products utilizing equipment, including tractor trailer, ramps, lift gates, pallet jacks, load bars, and other devices which assist delivery.
• Operate vehicle safely within UNFI guidelines minimizing accidents, traffic violations, and complaints from the public.
• Report any accident immediately to the Transportation Manager / Department.
• Keep vehicles well maintained, safe, and secure; report any defects promptly using DCVR form.
• Pick up supplies and back hauls from vendors while completing related paperwork.
• Address and resolve customer problems as appropriate.
• Ensure customer orders arrive in quality condition and correspond precisely to the initial order.
• Communicate professionally with customers and vendors.

United Natural Foods Inc. anticipates paying $31.40 per hour for this position. Actual Pay will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
