Position Description : Summary We are seeking a talented, motivated, and teachable B2B sales professional with a proven record in the mortgage industry. The ideal candidate will have many existing relationships with product managers at a correspondent level and producers throughout the industry. A familiarity of the origination, underwriting, closing, post-closing and servicing is essential. Knowledge of secondary marketing and capital markets is preferred. Candidates will possess knowledge and professionalism that allows them to communicate at all levels of the client organization. As a Sr. Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth independently and maintain relationships at the highest levels. Your expertise with our products, the mortgage business, contracts, and selling, will propel you. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Innovation. Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and engage with potential lenders, including cold calling, networking, and leveraging existing industry relationships. Seek new ways to connect, break through, etc. Hustle. Actively prospect new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts. Master the frequency and flow of follow up. Teacher Mentality. Educate lenders, real estate agents, and stakeholders on the features and benefits of our down payment assistance products, seeking zero defects from submission to securitization. Smoothness. Create trust through a mastery of the business language and its delivery. Grind. Ability to travel, work off-shift hours, and respond efficiently to clients while performing other responsibilities. Teamwork. Collaborate with EVP of Sales to tailor product offerings, messaging, and problem solving to meet the specific needs and objectives of prospective clients. Work effectively with Operations to resolve issues in a timely manner. Work with Jr. Account Executives in an oversight capacity managing client issues, training, onboarding, etc. Learning. Dedicated to self-improvement while staying informed about industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting the industry. Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to identify potential opportunities and threats, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making. Business development : Identify, recruit, and onboard new lenders to increase market share and expand the client base. Relationship management : Manage lenders with high-impact clients, conduct regular meetings and provide exceptional service to foster long-term partnerships. Strategic consulting : Advise and educate clients on products, services, pricing, and technology to help them grow their business using the company's tools. Pipeline management : Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the loan process, from submission to closing, resolving issues and tracking loan progress. Internal collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams, such as underwriting and operations, to ensure a smooth and timely loan funding process. Mentorship : Coach and mentor junior account executives, sharing expertise and strategies for success. Compliance : Ensure adherence to all federal and state regulations and internal company policies. Market analysis : Perform market research and gather competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions regarding products and pricing. Accountability. Willingness to be observed, to be on stage, to record daily activity, to fight for responsibility and submit to numbers. Performance Measurements Responsible for making a high volume of outbound cold calls and qualifying leads. Participate and collaborate in weekly Teams meetings. Handle all aspects of client or vendor meetings, including preparation, logistics, and follow-up. Maintain regular communication with clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings. Troubleshoot and resolve client issues that arise during the application process. Managed customer concerns : by actively listening, investigating, and implementing effective solutions. Be grounded with confident energy that conveys a "I've got this" attitude. A strong desire to close sales, build relationships, and meet monthly revenue quotas. The ability to stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively present information and interact with clients and colleagues. Familiarity with mortgage products, policies, and the loan origination process.
