We are seeking motivated and dependable individuals with drywall experience who are ready to take the next step in their career as an Entry-Level Drywall Foreman. This role is ideal for experienced carpenters, framers, or finishers who want to transition into a leadership position with mentorship and support from senior Optiline foremen and project managers.
Supervise and lead small crews of drywall framers, finishers, and laborers on commercial job sites.
Coordinate daily tasks to ensure schedules are met and work exceeds expectations.
Work hands-on alongside your crew while providing guidance and oversight.
Communicate with Project Managers and Field Superintendents regarding progress, needs, and challenges.
Ensure all work complies with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Model Optiline's mission and values as a leader on site.
5+ years of drywall, framing, or finishing experience (commercial construction preferred).
Previous experience leading small teams or acting as a lead carpenter/taper a plus.
Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Effective communication and leadership skills with a willingness to learn.
Reliable transportation to job sites across New England.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Competitive pay: $25–$35/hour, based on experience and skills assessment.
