About The Role

As our Inventory Manager, you'll be the go-to person for all things inventory across our stores. You'll work closely with Store Managers and inventory leads to keep everything running smoothly; think accurate counts, proper tagging, and making sure products are front and center for customers.

Your day-to-day will include managing state-required 30-day counts, overseeing FIFO processes, and ensuring SOX quarterly audits are on point. You'll also create clear SOPs, train store teams, and help everyone stay up to speed on best inventory management practices.

As the Inventory Manager, you'll have a direct hand in tightening up inventory, reducing shrinkage, and improving accuracy. Cycle counts will be smoother, and you'll get to connect with different teams, learn how each store operates, and help standardize processes. Plus, you'll collaborate with District Managers and corporate partners; this role can be a great stepping stone for future opportunities

What You'll Do

Be the connector : Communicate with store leaders and associates across your market to keep cannabis and non-cannabis inventory flowing smoothly.

Optimize operations : Partner with Store Managers to fine-tune inventory processes and control procedures.

Solve problems : Jump in on inventory investigations and reconciliations when needed.

Train & empower : Teach store teams best practices for inventory accuracy, from receiving to sale.

Stay ahead of the game : Monitor POS and Metrc systems for variances, anticipate shortages, and keep everything on track.

Organize like a pro : Help create vault layouts and storage systems that make tracking inventory easy and efficient.

Keep it moving : Ensure inventory flows seamlessly from receiving to the sales floor every single day.

Audit & verify : Oversee daily cycle counts and monthly / quarterly audits, making sure everything reconciles with Metrc.

Share insights : Follow reporting cadences and keep store leaders in the loop with accurate inventory data.

Improve processes : Recommend updates to SOPs when you see opportunities for better efficiency.

Stay compliant : Audit for accuracy and ensure all state regulations and company standards are met.

Travel often : Expect to be on the road about 80% of the time within your market.

Flexibility matters : Perform other duties as neededbecause in retail, things change fast!

What You'll Bring

Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, or relevant experience in lieu of degree

3+ years of data management and auditing experience

2+ years of experience in inventory management in the cannabis industry

Experience creating SOPs or training materials related to inventory management

Advanced knowledge and experience with data integration and extraction from and to multiple diverse data sources and software programs

Passion for solving complex data problems and strong analytical and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills

Ability to manage several tasks / projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively.
