Purpose of the Position :
A successfulOperator 1will have a strong dedication to safety and quality. Attention to detail is critical to ensuring the highest care is takenwith plant equipment and processes. The ability to understand and follow work instruction whilemaintainingthe 6S and key metrics in the department will help drive the success of themanufacturingprocess.
The position reports to theManufacturingSupervisor.
Essential Duties &Responsibilities :
Ability to safelyoperatelight manufacturing equipment and follow work instructions during Milwaukee Tool Accessories production.
Assistingin themaintainingofequipment andplantto Milwaukee 6S standards
Accurately recording production data
Constantly works to ensure equipment is exceeding performance metrics
Ensurestimelyjob changeovers
Coordinates with theDepartment Leads to fulfilWork Orders
Skills & Qualifications :
Mathematical and analytical skills
Possess proven mechanical ability oraptitude
Accuracy and attention to detailrequired
Familiarity with correct PPE wear and safety policies
Education and / or Experience :
High School degree / GED
1-2 years of experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment.
Previousstamping, deburring, spot welding, experience with automation, or chemical safety experience is a plus
Physical Demands & Work Environment :
The employee maybe requiredtooccasionallylift, carry,pushor pull up to35pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Occasionalbending, crouching, twisting, reaching
Employees maybe requiredto wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain workcells.
