SEnergy, a growing and dynamic consulting engineering firm located in located in College Station, Houston, and the Texas Hill Country, is seeking a Project Engineer to focus on low voltage projects for our Power Generation group.
The successful candidate will have a systematic approach to problem solving with a high attention to detail.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Design and implement low voltage electrical systems for Power Generation projects.
- Conducting detailed electrical calculations and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Collaborate with designers, contractors, and other team members to develop electrical plans and specifications.
- Review project drawings and providing technical guidance on low voltage electrical systems.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the proper installation and functioning of low voltage electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to low voltage electrical systems. Participate in the commissioning and testing of low voltage electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program; Possess strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills and able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing; 0-4 years’ experience in industry or related industry Preferred : 5+ years’ experience, EIT or PE in the State of Texas SKILLS : Strong (effective) written and verbal communication skills, exceptional computer skills, with emphasis in project management, spreadsheet and word processing applications.Strong skills of time management, organizational and multi-tasking.Proficient in AutoCAD (preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
