Description : Supply Chain Analyst

For more than 79 years, Winholt Equipment has been an industry leader in the custom design and manufacturing of food handling and food preparation equipment for the food service industry. We are seeking a Supply Planner / Buyer to join our experienced Supply Chain team here in our Grand Prairie, Texas, Office. This is a dynamic, high-impact role focused on metal planning and sourcing—primarily aluminum, stainless steel, and steel—across our domestic and international supply base.

This position offers full ownership of the planning lifecycle, from demand forecasting and inventory optimization to negotiation and purchasing, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and proactive supply chain management.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain accurate forecasts using historical data, seasonality, and market trends.
• Apply Min / Max planning principles to optimize inventory levels across three manufacturing sites.
• Monitor SKU velocity and adjust safety stock targets to support service level goals.
• Manage purchasing of metals and other categories as assigned, from domestic and international suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply.
• Support supplier management and new product sourcing initiatives.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
• Monitor POs, inbound shipments, and inventory KPIs to prevent stockouts and delays.
• Own cradle-to-grave product lifecycle planning, including master data accuracy.
• Work closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Warehouse teams.
• Lead or support S&OP processes to align supply, demand, and capacity.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders on supply risks and resolutions.
• Manage other product categories as assigned, ensuring consistent planning, sourcing, and inventory control practices across all areas.
• Identify and lead initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory health, and supply chain efficiency.
• Provide actionable insights through reporting and analysis.
