OB / GYN Physician Locums Job in North Carolina 24-Hour Beeper Call Ongoing Coverage Starting 11 / 6 / 2025 Assignment

Coverage Needed :

Ongoing coverage starting 11 / 6 / 2025

Multiple dates in November and December

Shift Description : 24-hour call

Required call response time : 30 minutes

Requirements :

Board certified or board eligible

Must be licensed in North Carolina

ACLS certification

NRP, Electronic Fetal Monitoring with 2 years

Procedures :

FHR interpretation NST / CST / FSE

OB Ultrasounds Level I / Screening (viability) and Level II / Targeted (anatomic)

Amniocentesis

Low risk / routine pregnancies Vaginal, low forceps

High risk / complicated pregnancies C-section, breech, multiple births, abruption

Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Surgical gynecology Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic / minor (tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation), and Operative / major includes diagnostic (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)

Assignment Details : EMR : Paragon

Admissions (around 1 per shift) and rounding if called in

Patients seen per shift : 4-6

Phone consults : 3-6

Support staff includes 3 RNs

Credentialing timeframe : 30-60 days
