Position Summary :

The Senior Designer, Sweaters will be responsible for leading the design and development of high-quality knitwear for the Donna Karan and BCBG brands. This individual will bring a strong understanding of luxury sweater construction, yarns, and silhouettes, merging modern trends with brand heritage. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to execute cohesive, fashion-forward collections that align with seasonal concepts and merchandising strategies.

Key Accountabilities :

Development :

• Research current and emerging fashion trends, applying insights that align with the Donna Karan and BCBG brand aesthetics.
• Conduct extensive market, fabric, and style research through blogs, magazines, street-style, and vintage sources to inform seasonal direction.
• Develop well-balanced, seasonally relevant collections that reflect brand identity and strategic merchandising goals.
• Communicate seasonal design intent and concept direction to factories, requesting initial treatments and mock-ups.

Salary Range : $105,000 – $150,000 per year
