Quality Control Specialist

Job Brief

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Control Specialist to ensure the quality and durability of our cement based products.

The specialist's responsibilities include testing and inspecting samples, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications, reporting findings, and providing recommendations for improvement.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of cement products compositions, production processes, and quality control methodologies. Excellent math skills are a must for the ideal candidate as they will be doing calculations involving volumes, proportions, ratios, etc.

Ultimately, the Quality Control Specialist's goal is to guarantee that our cement based products are robust, durable, and meet all safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

Inspect and test samples for various parameters.

Ensure compliance with industry specifications and standards.

Document results and findings of quality tests.

Monitor and adjust mixes for performance.

Develop and implement quality control procedures.

Provide recommendations for improvement based on findings.

Collaborate with production team to ensure quality output.

Handle customer complaints regarding product quality.

Adhere to safety procedures and protocols.

Qualifications

Proven work experience in a similar role is ideal but not necessary.

Sound knowledge of cement products compositions and production processes is ideal but we will train and educate on this.

Proficiency in quality control methodologies and regulatory standards is ideal but we will train and educate on this.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills is required.

Strong communication and reporting skills is required.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively is required.
