Accounting Manager (Interim – 6 Month Project)

Location : Rochester, IN (Onsite)

We’re partnering with a client in the Rochester, Indiana area seeking an Accounting Manager to support their team through a critical transition period. This is a hands-on, onsite role offering the opportunity to lead core accounting operations while assisting with an ERP implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, journal entries, and reconciliations .

Support the month-end close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Partner closely with the CFO and internal team during the company’s ERP transition.

Assist with coding invoices, financial analysis, and process improvements .

Provide stability and leadership during a period of organizational change.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

Strong ERP experience —familiarity with Oracle NetSuite preferred; exposure to SAP a plus.

Proven experience managing accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work onsite in Rochester, IN .

Strong analytical mindset and adaptability to change.
