Job Summary :

The Senior Traffic Signal Technician manages the daily operations and maintenance of the Traffic Operation Center. This includes the Advanced Transportation Management System Intelligent Transportation Systems and coordination of signal systems to facilitate safe vehicular and pedestrian traffic. This role involves assisting with inspections and reviewing signal design plans. The position reports to the Traffic Operations Supervisor.

May involve extended shifts and irregular hours including evenings weekends holidays and emergency call-outs as part of an on-call rotation.

Experience Knowledge Skills :

Minimum Requirements :

• High school diploma
• Six (6) years of relevant experience
• IMSA Level II certification or ability to obtain within one year
• IMSA Level I and II TOC certification or within two years
• TIM Certification within six months
• Traffic Control Supervisor certification or within one year
• Class B CDL or within one year
• Fiber splicing and network programming experience
• Work rotating shifts holidays and weekends
