Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to our exciting and growing team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials on Cardiac specific equipment. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans for our patients.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging procedures
- Operate a Nuclear Cardiology and Stress Equipment
- Position patients and ensure their comfort during imaging procedure
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions
- Capture high-quality images of the targeted areas for diagnostic evaluation
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret images and provide accurate reports
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Follow strict safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure risks

In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminologyProficiency in performing Nuclear Cardiac SPECTAbility to operate and troubleshoot nuclear medicine equipment effectivelyStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accuratelyExcellent communication skills to interact with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionalsRequirements :
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Technologist (RT) certification in Nuclear Medicine.Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.Medical specialties :
