LPN

LPN Needed to assist students with Diabetic needs. Providing support throughout the school day. Must have1 yr experience in Diabetic management. LPN will need to assist with bus route of students to and from school Monday-Friday hours 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm (days school is in session may vary).

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) :

Must have a valid license / certification in the state of NY

Must have 1 yr experience with continuous glucose monitoring, Dexcom, and managing Type 1 Diabetics.

Current CPR or BLS certificate

Must clear background checks and pre-employment drug screening

Experience in documenting and / or charting desired

Physically able to perform job duties and bus routes

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) :

Administer care of Diabetic management

Participate in the delivery and evaluation of patient care

Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of students according to facility guidelines

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Must have reliable transportation, availability, and reliability is a must

Documenting and / or Charting, according to facility specifications
