Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A speech-language pathologist is needed to provide specialized services for students in grades 6 through 12 in a K-12 school setting located in Waterbury, CT. This position is a contract role running for the upcoming school year, offering approximately 30 hours per week servicing two schoolsmiddle and high school. The role includes itinerant work with paid travel between sites.
Key responsibilities include delivering therapy to students with a variety of diagnoses, managing caseloads within established district standards, and participating in indirect activities such as administrative duties and paid team meetings. The school district uses an IEP system with training provided, and dedicated therapy spaces are available at each site. Supervision arrangements are in place depending on the candidates licensure status.
