Position Highlights :

  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers.
  • Provide comprehensive care addressing physical, mental, and social health at every visit.
  • Focus on quality over quantity, seeing typically 14 to 16 patients daily.
  • Care primarily for a geriatric patient panel, mostly covered by Medicare Advantage.

    • Compensation / Benefits Overview :

  • Competitive Base Salary enhanced with an annual quality incentive target of $50,000.
  • Participate in the Optum Physician Partnership Plan.

    Required Qualifications :

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or M.B.B.S.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in Florida or willingness to secure one before employment.
  • Valid DEA license or ability to acquire before employment.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • Experience in a managed care environment.

    • The salary range for this position is $226,000 to $366,000 annually. Compensation is based on various factors including location, education, and experience. UnitedHealth Group is committed to offering competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits subject to eligibility requirements.
