  • Location : Reno, Nevada 89502 (Nevada nursing jobs)\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (November 17, 2025 – February 16, 2026)\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Same Day Surgery Center with 8 Operating Rooms\n
  • Shift : 4x10 hour day shifts per week, varied start / end times\n
  • Hours per Week : 40\n
  • Schedule : No weekends, no call; some holidays required\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100–$2250\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be obtained prior to start)\n
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent intraoperative OR RN experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center\n
  • Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures : General, Orthopedic, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Plastics, Gynecology, Dental, Oral Maxillofacial, and minimal Endoscopy\n
  • Ability to float to other clinical units within competency as needed\n
  • Availability to work 2 of the 3 major holidays during the assignment\n

    • \n\nOR RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver optimal patient care throughout the perioperative process, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation\n
  • Provide comprehensive clinical nursing services to patients from pediatrics to geriatrics\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality surgical outcomes\n
  • Maintain a safe, sterile environment in the operating room and adhere to infection control protocols\n
  • Float to other units as required based on organizational needs and clinical competency\n
  • Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including working some holidays and picking up an additional shift every 4 weeks\n
