Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Marine Specialty Producer in Virginia Beach, VA to manage marine client relationships and grow business in the marine industry.

How You Will Contribute

• Actively generate new leads through community activities, attending association meetings, and cold calling to obtain expiration dates and other information to turn leads into prospects and clients.
• Work within the procedures and goals of the agency to meet sales objectives.
• Submit data on potential accounts and renewals to support team member for processing.
• Assist in the marketing of accounts, present proposals to prospects and clients.
• Continually strive to provide value-added customer service to existing clients.
• Handle complex processing and claim situations with client and / or team members.
• Develop new business accounts and retain existing accounts in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined by the office leader.
• Responsible for collection of all premiums, including audits made after policy issuance, on all new accounts produced.
• Maintain production reports and attend sales meetings as required.
• Promote the agency and the insurance industry in the community.
• Participate in company and agency sales contests.
• Keep informed of industry developments through a review of the trade press and by attending company training meetings on new or revised products.
• Pursue a program of personal and professional development.
