The Industrial Maintenance Technician - Plastic Injection Molding is responsible for machine maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and improvement of complex plastics processing and ancillary equipment on the 3rd Shift. (10 : 30 PM -7 : 00 AM / Mon-Fri)
This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is part of the Plastics Maintenance Team located in Indianapolis, Indiana and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to :
Applying experience and skills to complete assigned work and respond to unplanned maintenance events. Must be familiar with standard operating aspects of mechanical machine service and operation, which include predictive, preventive, and proactive assessments. Working with a moderate degree of supervision.
Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions using root cause analysis, expediently developing and implementing solutions from established operating procedures and / or scientific methods.
Conduct precise equipment condition assessments to determine necessary modifications, systems to enhance production reliability, and specific elements of quality system compliance.
The essential requirements of the job include :
Industrial Maintenance : Minimum 2+ years of automated Industrial machinery experience and repair, a plastics manufacturing environment is a plus.
Mechanical : Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrate the ability to solve typical mfg. problems without supervision.
Electricity : Knowledge of basic electrical (24VDC to 480VAC), OEM controls, machining operations, standard plumbing, or pneumatics.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / Environment Requirements :
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30 lbs. Standing, bending, walking and climbing.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :
Strong communication, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Medical industry or machinery relocation and installation experience
Automation or Programming experience or basic understanding

The annual salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $32.00 hrly. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.
