Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Location : Dallas, TX 75230 (Texas nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : High-risk Labor & Delivery Unit (24 beds) Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7P-7A), 3 shifts per week Hours per Week : 36 Employment Type : Travel RN position Estimated Weekly Salary : $1610-$1730 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state) Minimum 2 years of recent high-risk labor and delivery nursing experience Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certification Proven experience circulating in C-sections and recovering high acuity obstetrical patients Ability to float to antepartum unit as needed Proficiency with GE fetal monitors and Meditech / CPN documentation systems Adherence to hospital dress code (clean scrubs, no artificial nails, neat hair, covered tattoos, limited visible piercings) Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver bedside care for high-risk obstetrical patients Circulate and assist in C-section procedures Manage vaginal deliveries, D&C procedures, and post-delivery recovery care Monitor patients using GE fetal monitors and accurately document care in Meditech / CPN Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to related units within the Women's Hospital as needed Ready to make a difference in Dallas healthcare?
