Licensed Service Plumber Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and professional Licensed Service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality plumbing services, including routine service calls and specialized home warranty work, to our residential clients. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

️ Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.

Effectively manage a schedule of service calls and complete work orders in a timely manner.

Specialize in handling home warranty calls , accurately assessing issues, and coordinating with warranty companies for approval and billing.

Diagnose and resolve issues related to water distribution systems, drainage, fixtures, water heaters, and general plumbing components.

Provide detailed explanations of work performed and necessary repairs to customers.

Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and installation work.

Manage inventory and required materials on the company vehicle.

Adhere to all local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

Valid Plumbing License (specific state / local license required) is mandatory.

Must possess a Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Proven experience as a service plumber performing residential and / or commercial service calls.

Must have own basic plumbing tools required for service work.

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

Must pass a background check and drug screening.
