Georgia Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center, LLC is a reputable general and surgical dermatology practice with twenty offices throughout Georgia and one in South Carolina. Established over fifty years ago, the organization specializes in treating all types of skin disorders and removing skin cancer, including Mohs surgery at several locations. The center also maintains an in-house pathology lab in Savannah, providing comprehensive laboratory services to multiple practices. We welcome new patients and referrals and accept most insurance plans.

Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Dermatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, located in Americus / Cordele, GA . The role involves conducting patient consultations, diagnosing and treating a variety of skin conditions, performing minor surgical procedures, providing follow-up care, and collaborating with a team of dermatologists and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities also include documenting patient care and ensuring adherence to established treatment protocols and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions
• Ability to perform minor surgical procedures
• Strong patient consultation and communication skills
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
• Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Georgia
• Experience in dermatology or related field is preferred
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing
