Full-Time | Monday - Friday

Licensure & Education Requirements (North Carolina)

• Must be LCAS or LCAS-A eligible (required).
• Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology , or a related behavioral health field.
• Other acceptable credentials include LCMHC, LCMHC-A, LCSW, LCSW-A , or full licensure as a CADC (for candidates in chemical dependency programs).

Summary

The Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for facilitating all clinical services in accordance with Pyramid Healthcare's standards, program philosophy, and regulatory guidelines. This position plays a vital role in supporting clients through assessment, therapy, and individualized treatment planning to promote long-term recovery and wellness.
