Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Corpus Christi, TX (Texas nursing jobs) Facility : 4th Floor – Heart Telemetry Unit Unit Size : 25-bed telemetry unit Team : 40 healthcare professionals Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am) Hours per Week : 36 Assignment Duration : 13-week travel nursing contract (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026) Dress Code : Royal blue scrubs Estimated Weekly Salary : $1360-$1460 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical RN experience Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Telemetry nursing experience preferred Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a 25-bed telemetry unit Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to cardiac events Manage chest tubes and administer non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips Administer weight-based heparin drips Operate Baxter IV pumps, KCI wound vacs, and SCD pumps Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
