We design, manufacture, and install lubrication systems for multiple industries with a focus on natural gas compression, refining, and rotating machinery. Duties & Responsibilities – Design Engineer

• Designs custom systems based on customer specifications according to department and company standards.
• May evaluate products, parts, or processes for cost, efficiency and reliability.
• Works to ensure that design drawings and related details are completed within timeframes required.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Uses computer assisted design / drafting (3D CAD) software to develop designs and schematics.
• Creates and revises production drawings (detail and assembly drawings).
• Follows quality management system requirements for document and process control.
• Builds Bills of Material in ERP system at either quote level or order level.
• Makes changes and corrections in mechanical design throughout the life of a project or product.
• Makes production drawings of components and systems, checking dimensions of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
• Communicates with all departments regarding new and revised prints and BOMs.
• Communicates with customers and suppliers regarding details of parts, assemblies, systems, and requirements.
• Considers performance, safety, patents, goals and regulatory requirements when designing products and systems.
• Researches and analyzes data to determine feasibility of design effort.
• Other duties as assigned.
