H2M architects + engineers , a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, environmental consulting firm in Suffern, NY seeks Project Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Department.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and coordination of work on multidiscipline projects ranging from due diligence / site feasibility studies, site engineering, through regulatory approvals and full permitting.
• Develop site layout and design, including site grading and storm drainage, roadway design, water and sewer infrastructure, erosion and sediment control.
• Prepare hydrology and hydraulic calculations and be knowledgeable of NYSDEC stormwater management and SWPPP requirements.
• Perform project administration including writing reports, gathering information, writing proposals & correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports.
• Prepare engineer's opinion of probable costs for designed projects and specifications for public bids.
• Coordinate with other engineering and architectural departments within the firm.
• Communicate directly with clients in support and coordination of all project activities.
• Responsible for the on-time, on budget, high quality technical delivery of all project requirements.

Education and Qualifications

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
