Job Summary
Audits job descriptions for content and calibration within organization compensation structure. Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine companys competitive position. Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines policies and practices. Recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related challenges.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides professional consultation and guidance to client base regarding a variety of compensation-related issues and partners with HR Business Partners.
- Partners with departments to update job descriptions for existing and new positions within the organization and creates job codes for new positions.
- Analyzes salary surveys and obtains comprehensive market data to market price the positions and compare internally to company positions. Make recommendations and present results to departments management.
- Completes annual salary surveys by matching companys positions to survey positions.
- Reviews and recommends salaries for both internal and external candidates considering internal equity and market.
- Responsible for generating accurate and timely reports as requested.
- Escalates issues to supervisor / manager for resolution as deemed necessary.
- Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.
- Perform all other duties and projects that may be assigned
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.Two (2) years of experience as a compensation analyst in a large HR department.Demonstrated knowledge of compensation systems.Skilled in utilizing advanced Excel functions including pivot tables v-lookups and other advanced queries for data analysis.Experience developing financial modeling and analysis for management recommendations.Advanced knowledge of PC applications and Microsoft Office applications required.Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent consulting influence and communication skills.End-to-end process thinking.Strong attention to detail required.Ability to multi-task required.Advanced analytical skills.Substitutions Include
