Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) located in Kaufman, TX. The CNA will be responsible for providing basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Daily tasks include assisting patients with activities of daily living (such as bathing, dressing, and grooming), providing basic patient care and comfort, taking and recording vital signs, and ensuring patient rooms are clean and orderly. The CNA will also assist in the transport of patients, maintain a safe environment, and participate in care team meetings to ensure proper care planning and coordination.

Qualifications

• Basic patient care skills including bathing, dressing, grooming, and comfort
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to maintain patient rooms in a clean and orderly manner
• Capacity to assist in transporting patients and ensuring a safe environment
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Ability to work effectively in a team and participate in care planning
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous
