Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Patient Coordinator - Radiology

At the clinical and administrative direction of the MRI Supervisor, the MRI Patient Coordinator establishes, oversees, and coordinates MRI patients and procedures for efficient operation of MRI services. Responsibilities include interacting collaboratively with radiologists, MRI staff, and other sectional supervisors to facilitate the day-to-day functions of the MRI suite, assuring smooth patient workflow in MRI suite, working closely with film library in obtaining pertinent films, duplicating films, and receiving / sending prior studies.

Qualifications : High School graduate. Graduate of a medical secretarial school preferred. Minimum of one(1) year in a healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred; class attendance required within six months of date of hire required if no prior knowledge. Basic computer skills (Microsoft functions) required. CPR Certification required and maintained on a bi-annual basis required.

Compensation

• Minimum Pay : $17.83
• Maximum Pay : $27.64
