Position Summary :
The Junior Studio Engineer provides in-house support to all technology areas of the Lew Klein College of Media and Communication. Areas include three TV Production Studios and accompanying control rooms, an audio recording studio and suites, The Joe First Media Center (Atrium), an equipment office, Temple University Television (TUTV), WHIP (student radio), and emerging Klein technology fields. In coordination with other technical operations staff, this position contributes to the design and installation of electronic, broadcast, and audio / visual systems throughout the college. Triages technology issues within Klein, coordinates repairs with third-party vendors, and contributes to multiple active equipment inventories. In addition, the Junior Studio Engineer will support Klein College classes and student organizations. Provides direct engineering support for live and live-to-tape studio productions airing on TUTV from Klein's Technical Operations Center (TOC) and TUTV Master Control. Performs other duties as assigned.
