Aultman Urology is a single-specialty group specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of male and female urogenital conditions. Our physicians are board-certified by the American Board of Urology and perform a range of procedures, including minimally invasive surgeries.

Position Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to provide outpatient clinical support to the Licensed Provider (LP), educate patients and families, and work collaboratively within the healthcare team, maintaining standards of nursing care in accordance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• Handle phone calls and messages, returning calls promptly.
• Triaging patients and coordinating with LP on acute and post-operative issues, scheduling visits as needed.
• Review patient records before visits, verify test results, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Perform catheter changes, administer bladder treatments and medications, assist with specimen collection and office procedures.
• Manage documentation, scheduling, and communication related to patient care and procedures.
• Educate patients and families about testing and medications, and promptly notify LP of abnormal results.
• Maintain cleanliness and confidentiality, assist with sterilization and equipment management.
