Job descriptionExamine, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients in a culturally sensitive setting Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the electronic health record Refer patients for specialty care and ancillary services when needed Participate in quality improvement and community outreach efforts Mentor medical students and clinical support staff Master s degree in nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program Board Certified (PNCB, AANP, or ANCC) Texas NP license in good standing DEA registration BLS certification (AHA required) Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred Previous pediatric experience strongly preferred
