Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for night shifts, requiring ARRT R, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of recent CT experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an adult acute care and outpatient setting as a CT Technologist
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Weekend shifts are required
  • Patient cases include abdominal, chest, and head scans with and without contrast, as well as musculoskeletal trauma imaging
  • Equipment used includes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT scanners, with PACS for image management
  • Responsibilities include performing CT scans, administering contrast, and supporting musculoskeletal trauma imaging
  • Modules and orientation may be completed prior to or during onboarding, with roughly 12 hours expected
  • Candidates must be comfortable with potential for no manager interview
  • For local candidates, residency within a 60-mile radius is required and address will be verified by driver's license
  • Local candidates are accepted at a lower pay rate
  • If previously employed, candidates must have a 1-year gap from last employment to return as a traveler
  • No more than 7 days of time off is highly preferred per 13-week contract, and no time off is allowed in the first two weeks

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CT Technologist
  • Current ARRT R and BLS certifications required
  • Proficiency in preparation and administration of contrast media
  • Ability to start peripheral IVs
  • Experience with adult acute care and outpatient settings
  • Familiarity with GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment
  • License required if applicable
  • Two supervisor references required
