• Monitor the daily output from the line and ensure that Quality product is delivered to the customer.
• Manage the conforming and non-conforming material in the shopfloor including identification, disposition, reporting and escalating quality related issues.
• Report any deviations, unusual discrepancies or quality problems promptly to Quality Tehcnician and Engineer.
• Participate and assist in identifying, investigating, and processing corrective and preventive actions, customer complaints, product non-conformance, returned goods authorizations and participate on quality improvement teams.
• Maintain assigned paperwork and files for all quality related correspondence.
• Promotes a zero defects philosophy and encourages a quality-based mindset to all involved departments and throughout the company.
• Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner, including returning tools to designated areas.
• Record, and report to Quality Engineers unsafe working conditions, quality, or production issues as soon as it arises.
• Detail and data oriented
• Decision making on the product's disposition according to specifications.
• Effective communication skills to promote quality assurance throughout the company
• Ability to work in teams
• Dependable
• Assure quality of products and compliance of customer specific requirements.
• Work overtime if needed to meet production needs.
• Immediately report safety issues.
• Active participation in actions to improve the quality of the products.
