Orthopedics - Adult Reconstructive Physician

Our client is a leading healthcare institution in Bergen County, NJ, known for its excellence in patient care, cutting-edge medical advancements, and commitment to medical education. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Reconstruction Surgery to join their distinguished orthopedic team.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a Fellowship in Reconstruction Surgery. This role involves diagnosing and treating complex musculoskeletal conditions, focusing on joint reconstruction, arthroplasty, and revision surgeries. The surgeon will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including orthopedic specialists, physical therapists, and pain management experts, to provide comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary and revision joint reconstruction procedures, including hip and knee replacements.
• Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions related to degenerative diseases, trauma, and deformities.
• Collaborate with a team of orthopedic specialists to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced surgical techniques, including robotic-assisted and minimally invasive procedures.
• Participate in research, clinical trials, and continuing medical education.
• Educate and mentor residents and medical students as part of the hospital s teaching initiatives.
• Contribute to hospital-wide initiatives to improve orthopedic patient care and outcomes.
