Must-Have :

Experience with activated clotting time.

Experience in direct fresh open-heart admissions from the OR.

Experience in pressure monitoring and Swan-Ganz management.

Experience with Impella monitoring, CRRT, and cardiac surgery skills.

Description :

The Registered Nurse will work in a Cardiac Care Unit.

Candidates must have experience with direct open-heart admissions from the OR.

They will be responsible for monitoring patients and managing complex medical needs.

The RN will provide care for cardiothoracic surgery patients, including CABGs and valve replacements.

They will assist with various procedures and manage critical conditions.

A patient ratio of 1 : 2 will be maintained based on acuity.

The RN may occasionally float to other units.

Team collaboration with interdisciplinary support services will be essential.

Candidates must have the ability to interpret arterial blood gases and manage arterial lines.

They will also provide care for patients with multi-system organ dysfunction.

Successful candidates will work weekends and weekdays as scheduled.
