Bartender

$18-35 / hr including tips

Bartender Job Description

A Taste of Belgium Bartender is responsible for ensuring that all guests receive prompt, friendly, personalized service, and a truly unforgettable experience. This is a tipped position.

The Ideal Candidate will excel in the following areas

Hospitality

  • Outgoing, sparkly and friendly
  • Attentive; ensuring that our guests receive prompt, friendly and personalized service
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Love working in a team environment to achieve goals and provide top notch service
  • Has a passion for great food and beverages
  • Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and guests
  • Assessing bar guests with their  needs and preferences and making recommendations

Teamwork

  • Work as a TEAM - assist in the service of ALL guests
  • Perform duties and side work to ensure the bistro opens on time
  • Perform all closing functions including side work and cleaning
  • Restock and maintain supplies throughout shift

    • Attention to detail

  • Ensure all orders are correct by ringing them in accurately
  • Proper and accurate cash handling and credit card processing
  • Knowledge of all menu offerings and prices
  • Adhere to all local and State liquor service laws
  • Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
  • Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Basic understanding of craft beer with a willingness to learn more

    • Environmental Requirements

  • PM and weekend availability
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with periods of moving quickly, bending, lifting and twisting
  • Ability to lift & carry up to 50 lbs.
