Job Summary :

A successful and expanding personal injury law firm located in Marietta is seeking a seasoned, results-oriented Senior Personal Injury Attorney to join its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in plaintiff and / or insurance defense litigation and be prepared to take ownership of personal injury cases from intake through resolution. The role requires a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Supervisory Responsibilities :

May oversee and mentor junior attorneys, case managers, and litigation paralegal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients in personal injury cases.

Manage cases independently from inception through resolution, including trial if necessary.

Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.

Propound and respond to discovery requests.

Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.

Prepare for and attend pretrial conferences, motion hearings, mediations, and jury trials.

Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, maintaining focus on optimal outcomes.

Conduct thorough legal research and stay current on relevant case law, statutes, and industry trends.

Maintain proactive communication with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the legal process.

Required Qualifications :

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Active license to practice law in the State of Georgia, in good standing.

Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience (personal injury plaintiff or insurance defense preferred).

Proven track record of handling all phases of personal injury litigation, from intake to trial.

Required Skills :

Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Significant courtroom experience, with confidence in handling hearings, trials, and mediations.

Superior negotiation and client counseling abilities.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with legal research tools, case management systems, and standard office software.

Commitment to providing outstanding client service and maintaining high ethical standards.

Physical Requirements :

Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.

Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
