The Opportunity
Deal Management Health works on the most complex and high-profile global transactions, across a broad portfolio of clients and industry sectors. We are a group of experienced industry professionals with a background in operations who are serial transaction advisers, which enables us to bring a wealth of deep sector and functional knowledge to our clients. As a team, we prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions and people.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Director in Deal Management - Health, you will be a vital member of the team managing and executing projects focused on transaction strategy, transaction execution and partnership development, all occurring within the Health sector. This includes work with health systems, payer organizations, health care services organizations, large companies with specific needs in health care, health-focused government entities and other organizations with needs specific to the strategy or execution of organic and inorganic health care programs. Your role will also involve developing experience across the M&A lifecycle including pre-sign, sign-to-close and post-closing. Having a commercial mind-set is key to this consulting-based role. We value both experiences across the merger lifecycle and within the health care industry with a candidate having a strong desire to help healthcare clients on a range of challenging and greenfield engagements : partnership strategy and selection, board facilitation, Day 1 / Day 100 planning, post-merger integration synergies and carve-outs / activations. Individuals with an interest in joining the Transaction Strategy and Execution - Health practice ideally have years of consulting experience, an ability to facilitate difficult conversations with junior and senior executives and Boards and deep knowledge regarding transactions involving clients who have a current health care capability or are looking to grow, partner or acquire one.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $205,000 to $235,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. + Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. + Under our flexible vacation policy, you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
