Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Perform repairs as outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.

Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.

Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.

Save and tag parts for warranty or customer requests.

Examine vehicles for safety or service work requirements.

Communicate with supervisors about additional work needed or delays.

Document all work performed and recommendations.

Road test vehicles as required.

Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training and stay updated with technical bulletins.

Report machinery defects or malfunctions.

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and shop organization.

Maintain dealership tools, manuals, and equipment responsibly.

Comply with all safety and environmental regulations.

Operate tools and equipment safely and report safety issues immediately.

Requirements :

High school diploma or vocational / technical training preferred, or relevant experience in medium / heavy diesel maintenance.

Valid driver's license with a clean record; must pass background check, DOT physical, and ability tests.

Class A or B CDL license preferred.

Physical requirements include :

Standing, walking, sitting, bending, feeling, fingering, grasping, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, crouching, crawling, kneeling, reaching, and lifting over 50 lbs.

Salary : $15 - $45 per hour
