Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift - Start ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team on the third shift, with initial training on the first shift. You will play a crucial role in preparing finished goods for shipping, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. Responsibilities include helping prepare finished goods for outbound shipping and load shipments into the correct container truck. You will also unload in-bound shipments and place materials into proper storage and warehouse areas. Prepare necessary paperwork and attach to shipments to document and expedite order fulfillment. Move raw materials and finished parts to and from the production cell and into staging areas or warehouse for storage. Operate electric-powered lift trucks and maintain a safe driving record. Inspect lift trucks for compliance with safety and standard operating capabilities. Follow written start-up procedures for operating electric-powered lift trucks. Respond to requests to locate, count, and report physical inventory quantities. Operate a sit-down hilo for 90-95% of the shift, loading about 10-14 trucks daily.

Essential Skills : 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments. Proficiency in forklift operating, inventory management, material handling, and truck loading. Strong emphasis on safety. Good attendance record. Additional Skills & Qualifications : Hilo license is a plus. Personality is important as we are undergoing a culture change and value candidates with good personalities.

Job Type & Location : This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MI.

Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
