Computed Tomography / X-Ray Technologist

Position Summary :

MLR is thrilled to offer an opportunity for a skilled and motivated Dual Modality CT Technologist to join our vibrant healthcare team near beautiful Lake Isabella. In this unique role, you will use both CT and X-Ray technologies to deliver comprehensive diagnostic imaging services for our patients

Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum Education :

    • Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology

  • Required Certification / Licensure :

    • State licensure that permits them to perform diagnostic CT exams and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams.

  • Registration and certification in radiography by ARRT and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Required Experience :

    • Must be certified in the CT registry within one year of hire.

  • One (1) year of radiologic / imaging experience.
  • Proficiency with most major CT / X-Ray equipment, manufacturer's hardware, and software (GE, Siemens, Toshiba).
  • Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

    • A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required.

  • Prefer specific experience and training in CT.
