Job Summary

Randstad Digital is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. The ideal candidate will design, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence while collaborating with development and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Terraform modules for provisioning and managing GCP resources.

Develop and deploy cloud-native services across GCP environments with a focus on scalability and high availability.

Automate infrastructure workflows, including CI / CD pipelines , environment provisioning, and configuration management.

Integrate cloud infrastructure with application deployments in collaboration with development teams.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize GCP cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices , IAM policies, and least-privilege principles.

Apply knowledge of Sentinel and Prisma for policy enforcement and automated remediation.

Document architecture, standards, processes, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure roles.

2+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC.

Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform services , including :

Compute Engine

GKE (Kubernetes)

Cloud Storage

IAM

BigQuery

Cloud Functions

Cloud Composer

Proficiency with CI / CD tools such as GitHub Actions , Jenkins, or equivalent.

Strong scripting experience in Python or Bash .

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .

Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM roles , and compliance best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience setting up enterprise-grade GCP environments .

Familiarity with monitoring / logging tools such as Stackdriver, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana .

Exposure to DevOps methodologies and Agile processes.

Experience using Harness for CI / CD pipelines.
