Summary

Hospitalists provide inpatient clinical care to patients who are referred to the Hospitalist service either from unassigned emergency department admissions, admissions from medical staff members or other sources. Patients are admitted and cared for on an ongoing basis. Discharges are done in a timely manner and within policy regulatory guidelines. Our Hospitalists serve as clinical team leaders for code blue, rapid responses and other emergent clinical scenarios, working to ensure optimal team performance and adherence to relevant guidelines. Scope of care includes adult internal medicine, critical care with back up provided by an on‑call intensivist. Advance Cardiac Life Support protocol, and on occasion, medical care for ill obstetrical patient.

Compensation : $130.00 Hourly Set Registry Rate

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job related reasons.
