Lake Regional Health System is looking for an outgoing, professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. Job Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to exam room and documents chief complaints
• Documents patient care in the electronic medical record
• Assists physician and / or nurse practitioner by providing assessment, treatment, testing, and education for the patients in the practice
• Greets patients warmly and respectfully, demonstrating compassion
• Responds in a timely manner and keeps patients informed while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all privacy and protected health regulations
• Assists physician / nurse practitioner with in-clinic procedures

Qualifications / Requirements :

MA Qualifications :

Graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program or has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic setting for at least 3–5 years.

You will be required to test for credentials within 90 days from the hire date using one of the approved credentialing bodies :

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) / Certified Clinic Medical Assistant (CCMA) credentials desired

Additional certifications may be required for this position and will be coordinated by Lake Regional as a part of your ongoing training and development. Please contact your recruitment team for more details.
