Traveler must be willing to float to Inpatient Adult Behavioral Heatlh and Detox units.

Travelers with licensure and / or background hits will not be considered.

Job Description :

The Adult Chemical Dependency Unit provides care to patients ages 15 and older. The most frequent diagnoses are physiological dependency to alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, and / or other drugs. Many patients will also have other associated psychiatric diagnoses such as depression, psychosis, and bipolar disorder. The Adult Chemical Dependency Unit operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Adult Chemical Dependency Unit is located on the D4 wing of St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

  • BLS certification required
  • CPI Required
  • “Staff must be trained and able to demonstrate competency in the application of restraints, implementation of seclusion, monitoring, assessment, and providing care for a patient in restraint or seclusion.” to ensure competency has been validated by the agency employing the staff member
