Overview

A leading home health organization in Desoto, TX is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their compassionate care team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on patients' quality of life by providing in-home therapy that promotes mobility, independence, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Implement individualized care plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

Conduct follow-up visits and provide therapeutic exercises and treatments

Educate patients and caregivers on wellness, safety, and the use of assistive devices

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and professional standards

Ensure adherence to infection-control and safety protocols

Travel to patients' homes as part of daily caseload

Qualifications

Required

Associate's degree in Physical Therapy

Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas

Minimum 1 year of experience in home health or related physical therapy setting

Valid CPR certification

Valid driver's license and ability to travel between patient locations

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate : $35 $45 per hour (Full Time, Direct Hire)
