Job Description

Provide screening, assessment, and crisis intervention services via telehealth to adult community members referred by local police.

Determine the appropriate level of care and services needed, ensuring the least restrictive setting for delivery.

Provide transitional support, advocacy, and care coordination services until clients initiate or resume ongoing treatment.

Be available via tablets for crisis calls referred by local police departments with established agreements.

Deliver crisis intervention and ongoing mental health services to clients receiving intensive case management.

Engage clients diagnosed with serious mental illness and substance use disorders, helping them navigate available services.

Uphold a nonjudgmental approach and demonstrate cultural competency when working with diverse populations.

Critical Information

Regular working hours : Monday through Thursday 8 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM, Friday 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM, Saturday 9 : 00 AM - 1 : 00 PM.

Some evening and weekend hours may be required based on program needs.

Crisis screening services available 24 / 7, including holidays and weekends.

Education / Licenses Needed

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.

Must possess corresponding State of Michigan licensure.
