A Day in the Life

You arrive for second shift, review the maintenance queue, and prioritize work orders. You might start by inspecting a conveyor drive, swap a sensor, and then move to repairing a dock door panel. Later, you run preventive maintenance on an order picker, update equipment files, support a safety walk-through, and close your shift by documenting fixes and advising on parts needs for tomorrow.

Physical Work Environment

Expect a mix of sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders, and working at heights up to 50 feet. You will lift / carry up to 75 lbs (individual or team lifts) and perform tasks that involve reaching high / low, bending, stooping, kneeling, balancing, pushing / pulling, and repetitive wrist / hand movements. Hearing, vision (including depth and peripheral), and mental coordination must support safe equipment operation. PPE is required as assigned, and you must remain mentally alert throughout the shift.

Other Requirements

Obtain internal certification to operate warehouse vehicles within the specified timeframe.
