A company is looking for a Medical Biller (Full Cycle AR & Denials) specializing in mental health services, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Post medical charges, payments, and journal entries to patient accounts accurately and timely

Verify insurance filing information and follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycles

Research and appeal denied claims while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations

Required Qualifications

Experience in medical billing and coding, specifically with HMO / PPO, Medicare, and state Medicaid

Proficiency in using billing software for electronic and paper claim processing

Knowledge of eligibility verification and precertification processes

Familiarity with denial management and credentialing is a plus

Ability to handle protected health information in compliance with HIPAA
